Ingredients
Basil syrup
- 1 plant of basil
- 1/2 cup of water (approximately 125 mL)
- 1/2 cup of sugar
Mocktail
- 15 mL Nona June
- 10 mL fresh lime juice
- 15 to 20 mL basil syrup (depends on strength of syrup)
- 125 mL Fevertree elderflower tonic

Basil syrup: to be prepared in advance, see instructions for mint syrup here.
Combine all ingredients for the mocktail, start with 15 mL of basil syrup and add a bit more to balance out the bitterness if desired.
